We launch in the winter, usually February and March after Lake Champlain has frozen, at a site located off the Sand Bar on Route 2 in Grand Isle, Vermont. We currently have an altitude waiver from the FAA to 10000 feet AGL.

We launch from April to October at a site located at 63 Old Stage Road in
Essex Jct, Vermont. This field is available for Model and Large Model Rocket
operations only.

Our Newest field is at 218 Brown's River Road in Essex, VT. This field has a 6000' waiver and a K impulse limit.

Directions are as follows from 5 Corners in Essex Jct.:
- Take Rt. 15 (Main Street) toward Essex for 3.1 mi.
- Straight on VT 128 (Browns River Road) at Essex Center for 2.2mi.
- Continue on Browns River Road past the turn for Osgood Hill Road.
- On the Left, less than 200 feet past the Osgood Hill Road, is the driveway;
past the house but before the barn.
- Go behind the barn.
The road from the barn down to where we will be flying should be drivable. If
not, there will be several 4WD vehicles to ferry supplies, and less than a 5
minute walk. DO NOT PARK ON THE RUNWAY or TAXIWAY for the Green Mt. RCer's! This
will be marked, but if you are unsure, please ask.
